Psychiatry and Primary Care
Nicole graduated nursing school from Gordon College and worked as a registered nurse in several modalities within the nursing community for 8 years. She found her calling and pursued her masters degree in nursing at Walden University where she focused on family practice. Nicole soon discovered her love for psychiatry and her fascination with mental health. She went back to school and earned Summa Cum Laude honors at The University of Cincinnati and became a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of nursing experience behind her. She has worked in both Primary Care and Psychiatry, her candid ability to incorporate her expertise in both modalities, enables her to get to the root cause of medical issues, thus, providing the best care to her patients. Experienced in both inpatient and outpatient settings dealing with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD and schizophrenia. Nicole sees patients as young as 6 years old to the the geriatric population. She started Innovative Psychiatry with the purpose of applying her primary care and psychiatry expertise to provide patients with the well-rounded care they deserve.
